I need advice: should I go to Costa Rica-Or Spain:

for my holiday?

On the heels of a post wondering why blogs were dying, I decided to take some initiative and update. It hasn't been that I don't want to- its just a bunch of decisions about my life were made in the past month and reliving them via blog is going to be a big exhausting.

So- I got into internal medicine at Dalhousie. Initially I was based in Halifax (the main program) and Terry was based in the new satellite program in Saint John, New Brunswick. The cities are about 4 hours away from eachother-but each of our program spends about 3 months in each city so we would have been together about 6 months of the year, and apart about 6 months.

So it would have been okay- but not perfect. Also we were excited about living together and this arrangement meant that we would have had to gotten separate apartments.

BUT- the program directors in Saint John found out about our situation and asked me if I wanted to change programs over to the Saint John site. So we thought about it and decided to do it. So that's the story.

So I'm moving to Saint John, NB! We went there this weekend to check it out- its very cute. Like Halifax but a bit smaller and a bit more sleepy. We are going to be living in right downtown- which means we are close to lots of cute bistros and cafes and the market. We went out there this weekend and found an apartment. This is the street we live on.

So that is going to be my life- Internal Medicine in New Brunswick! (And part of the time, in Halifax).
